This list contains listings from world, national and commonwealth heritage lists. The amount of information available at Aussie Heritage will amaze you, you can find information on virtually any heritage listed place in Australia by browsing from state (in the menu above) to a list of towns. Whether you looking for information for a holiday, tour, education or just general interest you will enjoy browsing throught this site.

Some examples of the wide range of places you can see here are:

World Heritage Listed sites: Fraser Island, famous with locals and tourists for its long uninterrupted white beaches with coloured sand cliffs, tall rainforests and freshwater lakes with crystal clear waters.
Buildings: Customs House Hotel in Macquarie Place, Sydney, a Victorian Italianate hotel; Ballarat Railway Station , which is on the National Estate register and was built in 1862; Bondi Surf Pavilion at Bondi Beach, designed in 1928 and listed on the National Estate register, played a large part in making Bondi one of Australia's most popular beaches..

Some famous tourist places on Aussie Heritage are: Uluru at Yulara, Northern Territory; The Opera House in Sydney, The Great Barrier Reef at Townsville, Queensland.

There are also listings for things like bridges, sculptures, natural features, lighthouses, homes and hotels etc.

In the near future the site will have mapping features such as one that allows you to plot out a heritage trail onto a map, marking places you wish to visit on a day trip or holiday. You will also be able to view areas via satellite imagery.
