Adelaide celebrates World Parks Day
To celebrate World Parks Day on 20th September, the Department for Environment and Heritage (DEH) is launching the 2008 October is Parks Month events calendar, along with a free South Australia’s National Parks Guide.
Community celebrates Centenary of Parks and historic handover at Mt Etna Caves
The Centenary of Parks celebration at Mt Etna Caves National Park on Saturday 27 September was a huge success, organisers and the community agree.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regional Manager Leigh Harris said about 600 people attended the event, held at Mt Etna’s Cammoo visitor area.
