Description:Yallourn, Victoria was a company town in Victoria, Australia built between the 1920s and 1950s to house employees of the State Electricity Commission of Victoria, who operated the nearby Yallourn Power Station complex. However, expansion of the adjacent open-cut brown coal mine lead to the closure and removal of the town in the 1980s.

The Centenary of Parks celebration at Mt Etna Caves National Park on Saturday 27 September was a huge success, organisers and the community agree. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regional Manager Leigh Harris said about 600 people attended the event, held at Mt Etna’s Cammoo visitor area.
